If you like steak, la vache! is a decent option in Central, Hong Kong. The price is fair and the quality is good.

Sichuan House (霸王川莊)
These photos are brought to you by my friends from Kuwait~ Thank Sunoj (for carrying the camera) and Smitha (for taking the photos)!
My friends love spicy food so I thought it will only be fitting if I take them to a local Sichuan restaurant to experience some authentic Sichuan food before they return to Kuwait. Sichuan House is a fairly new restaurant in LKF. I have heard some good reviews and saw some mouth-watering photos, so I decide to give it a try.

Little Bao
If you want to find unique fusion food in Hong Kong, Little Bao is the place. (However, Soho is expensive I wouldn't lie!)

Brickhouse
One of the things I miss much since I moved back to Asia is believe-it-or-not, Mexican food. It's been so hard to find good tacos here! I have been hunting for good Mexican food since and then I found Brickhouse!

Boqueria
Boqueria is a transplant from NYC and I have wanted to try this place for quite some time now. Finally, my friend and I went during this year's restaurant week.

Yung Kee Restaurant (鏞記酒家)
Yung Kee has been around for over half a century and is renowned for its roast goose. It's listed in my friend's the Lonely Planet guide. Although I heard the quality is not what it used to be, my friends and I decided to give it a try.

Mr. Bing (老金煎餅)
Went to Hong Kong this past weekend for Namie Amuro's 20th Anniversary Concert (it was superb! Namie was only 20 steps away from me~~~~~) and met up with my travel mates for the upcoming Wuyuan trip.
We had lunch at Taco Loco in SoHo and I have to say, that was one of the worst meals I have had in a very, very long time. It's nothing like the beef tacos I am used to. The meat was dry and bland. The tortilla chips taste like stale Doritos. Even Toxic Cow's (aka Taco Bell) tacos taste better. My friend jokes that bad food exists so that I can appreciate good food... okay... :S
Needless to say, I was hungry after this unsatisfying lunch. Thus, I stopped by Mr. Bing and got myself a Peking Duck Bing. Bing is just like a Chinese-style burrito and I am glad that it taste a lot better than the taco. Remember to tell your server if you want one of the specialty flour and/or youtiao!

| Mr. Bing is located at the corner of Wellington and Cochrane Street It's easy to miss if you are not paying attention. |

Butao Ramen (豚王)
After several visits, I finally tried all the different ramens Butao has to offer (except the off-menu flavors). So I thought I would write a post to summarize the different flavors I have tried. Overall, the quality is good and very consistent but the queue is intimidating. On average, the wait time is approximately 45 minutes.

L'atelier de Joël Robuchon
Splurge of my Christmas Hong Kong trip - lunch at L'atelier de Joël Robuchon. Since I didn't go anywhere this Christmas, I could afford a little extravagance.

Sing Heung Yuen 勝香園
Originally planned for Tex-Mex but ended up trying the famous tomato-based macaroni with beef and a fried egg at Sing Heung Yuen (勝香園). The place is located in NoHo in an alley. It's diagonally across from "Homeless" and another famous diner Kau Kee Restaurant (九記牛腩). I love dai pai dong (大排檔) so this is exactly my kind of food. However, if you only eat at Michelin's, this is not for you.
