Cake Boss Cafe (Times Square)

Even though I did not watch any episode of Cake Boss, I knew of this place.  When I passed by the shop per chance in Times Square, I went in for a cupcake!  Apparently, I wasn't the only one making a pilgrimage as this place is packed!

 

I guess I was not surprised when I saw all the merchandise sold here... the guy has to make money, right?

The choices are many and the all look delicious.  Very well decorated cakes!  Since it was around Xmas time, there are many Christmas themed cakes.

I settled for the red velvet in the end :)  The cake was moist and the icing was not overwhelmingly sweet.  Overall, it's a delicious cupcake!

If you are a fan of the show or just happened to pass by, it doesn't hurt to come in for a cupcake (provided there is not a huge line).  However, I don't think it's necessary to make a special trip here.  The cupcake is good... but nothing extraordinary.
