Located in the same alley with the popular café such as Melange and Konayuki, it's easy to miss L'apres Midi Café. Since it was within walking distance from my office, I was able to come here for lunch on a weekday when the shop was just opened. It's nice because I was the only one in the cafe so I get to appreciate and enjoy the space all to myself. (Don't you hate it when the cafe gets so crowded and you felt rushed all the time?)
As mentioned, I came here on purpose to try their mochi waffles and besides the waffles, they don't really have anything else (e.g. sandwiches, panini, etc.) So if you wanted something more savory, this may not be for you. (Unless you counted the tuna with honey mustard sauce waffle?!)
Mochi waffles for lunch. I know how crazy that might sound to you already... hahaha! But desserts for lunch (once in a while), why not?
I haven't had many bad coffee / latte in Taipei Overall, the baristas are very good here. |
