Wuyuan, Canola Flower Trip (江西婺源。油菜花) (7) - Jiang Wan (江灣)

Update:  This was part of the blog entry (4) under the same series.  I decided the original entry was too long.  If you actually read the long version, you can skip this entry.

After lunch, we went to Jiang Wan (江灣).  Some of us are pretty tired at this point and chose to take a nap in the car.  The rest of us took the free shuttle and went inside the village.  The village has gone through a large scale renovation and it looks too modern for what it is.

Everything has been renovated here - nice but the place also loss its glamour.

You will need at least 2 hours if you want to see everything
President Jiang's ancestral home (?) and his visit in 2003 (?) is commemorated.
It's Premier Wen's ancestral home - the tourism of this area was spiked because of him too

We stumbled across a traditional wedding ceremony show!
I can't understand why this woman would want to pretend drinking the wedding ceremonial wine (?) with this actor groom... -.-|||
Not sure why you would want to drink the "wedding wine" with an actor
I got hit by the candies twice and that said candy was promptly taken by those crazy mainlanders nearby... seriously folks, it's just a bag of candies... probably a brand i won't even dare to eat for fear of food poisoning...
The people went crazy for the candies, which I have no clue why.
It's definitely cheap candies that I won't eat.
To be honest, I wasn't impressed by Jiang Wan.  It was too big for what I consider a village and it was too modern.  There were also too many tourist.  I think my friends make the right choice to take a nap at Jiang Wan.
